Meet Sara

Hi! I’m Sara Eldridge, a licensed clinical social worker based in New York City. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 35 years old, and since then I’ve been on a journey to understand neurodivergence. I’ve listened closely to my clients’ experiences, read books and attended trainings, and learned to pay attention to my own brain and nervous system.

Living in a world not built for autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent folks can be incredibly challenging and traumatic. But that’s because the system isn’t set up to support us, not because our brains are broken or wrong, and the challenges don’t have to be the whole story. We can learn to appreciate our brilliant, weird minds, treat them with kindness, and create a life that serves us and our needs.

I’m dedicated to creating space for vibrant, joyful, authentic lives - not ignoring the impacts of trauma, oppression, and discrimination, but looking for the glimmers of hope. For me, those glimmers look like starting my own therapy practice, experiencing musical theater, and enjoying nature.

Do you want to uncover your glimmers, together?
